Once upon a time there was a tree,
I used to look at it and feel free.
It was huge but it was stagnant,
But I was a flowing pennant.
One day an engineer came to me,
Observed me and made a dam on me.
A part of me got stuck forever,
I felt like I’ve become cadaver.
One day another engineer came to me,
Demolished the dam and made canals out of me.
I took a deep breath and felt alive again,
That’s how I started life’s new domain.
Now I look at the tree and smile at it,
As I’ve observed his life and lived it.
I love my life more and flow with more vigor,
That’s how every day I am getting longer.
